Hi,

I got my new AI and I'm very excited! Now, my dealer had to leave for a Hobie Cat competition, and I didn't want to wait until he comes back, so I have to put my AI by self.

So my first question/problem is: The two rods that go inside the sail. The long one went in without a problem, all the way to the end. The short gets stock in the seam. I don't really see a pocket to go all way down.

Do I force it pass the seams?

Thanks!

Yes - make sure that you fully insert the battens (it's probably getting caught on the seam, just need to fuss with it a bit and you'll get it past) - don't sail it like that - you will definitely damage the sail that way.

Don't insert them and tie them down with too much pressure, like to the point they bend..

Remember to tie the cords on securely, then tie them again, then tie them again.
