That's quite a brain dump Bob. Hope you got some sleep last night.

To be fair, I think the choice of hatch seals was limited by OEM suppliers. In any case, the new seal choice and hatch lip design are much improved.

It's amazing to see how many of the design tweaks have made it into the AI over the last few years. Trickled down, I would say.

But it help point out, as you did, that the overall TI concept was well executed. Give or take a falling mast, and snapped rudder...

Now - where's my jib!?!

NOHUHU, I think you missed your calling. Stephen Colbert is giving his day job shortly, maybe you ought to think about applying.

Thanks for that treasure trove Bob, my TI is a November 2011 build 2012 model and everything matches.

BTW. Any truth in the rumour that the Las Vegas casinos frown on your card counting ability?

Unlike Bob, I've never been burdened by a perfect memory. In fact, I had a penchant for forgetting lots of things--especially things I don't think are important. Good thing it "takes all kinds."

"I'm no guru, I just happen to have owned all the different model years of TI's, and am cursed with a photographic memory, that's all."

Bob your "curse" and benevolent spirit have blessed me immensely as now I shop for a TI and sell my AI

http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/boa/4430738690.html

My AI is slightly overloaded these days with the recent addition of a Minn Kota RT55/ST/iP and 2 DieHard Platinum (AGM) Marine Batteries (group 34) and a Scotty 1106 downrigger in the next few weeks.

Also, my second question (after I ask friends if they want to go sailing) is "how much do you weigh?!"

Dunn. I live in Mobile. Bought a TI two weeks ago at Fairhope Boat Co. I will sail mostly at Dauphin Island, but we should work up a trip if you get it! Maiden voyage is this weekend. Can't wait.

Congrats on the new boat!! We are supposed to be going to look at it this weekend so hopefully its like he says it is. What did you buy the boat for? Fun or Fishing?

Fishing and goofing off around Dauphin Island. Caught what could very well end up being the biggest trout of my life on her two weeks ago. It made a very nice gator fence in the Mobile River Delta last weekend.

I saw your boat, Rich and it's PERFECT apart from 2 things. Hakas and TI Amas. Please check out the BATBOAT thread. You can still cartop it and you'll never have to ask the ladies about their weight again. :D
