If so, is it possible to get back in against an outgoing tide?

AI, not a TI.

I have not sailed Corson's Inlet but I do get out to "Great Egg Inlet" just south of Margate, NJ. I can tell you that I am well aware of what the tide is doing long before I set out. Even with the best wind direction and a 10 to 15 knot wind it's a chore to get back in. I usually go against the tide to start understanding that if I get really tired then at least the tide will bring me in and not push me out. I did get really lucky once and caught the high to the changing tide and road both in and out on the tide. Pick and choose wisely. Dom

Not much room to maneuver in Corson's inlet because the channel is not being maintained. I stick to the back bays. I don't need that kind of adventure.

Has anybody launched at the Corson't put-in and then gone under the bridge to the bay area there?
