For those using the AI/TI trampolines, I am curious what you use the “pockets” for? It seems like anything stowed there would inevitably migrate down toward the hull and then into the ocean. I’m trying to imagine what I would be comfortable stowing there. Electronics? Um, no. Sunscreen? Maybe, but in the age of climate change and rampant melanoma, that stuff is getting expensive. Hat? That would seem to be better stowed on my head. Bikini top? That seems like a reasonable use but then, who am I kidding? Never going to happen.

So curious, what do folks use the pockets for?

And then there’s those grommets along the inner edge... what the heck are those for?

Fair winds!

I think the pockets are there to stick the end of the paddles in, because when you have the trampolines on you can't access the bungie strap that they normally go through to hold them in place at the front...

At least, that's what I use them for.

I used the pocket for maps in waterproof bags. There are welded straps for paddle storage on the forward aka.
The grommets are for leashes/lanyards.

Sorry, ignore my ramblings... I don't know why my brain told me that.

I rarely use the trampolines, so forgot the layout. Looking at some pics online now reminded me - the pockets are not for the paddles, but you're right - I would be worried about whatever went in there working it's way out.

I believe that the tramp pockets are to tidy away the main sheet and furling line loose ends. That's why they face downhill towards the boat.
