Can anyone recommend good places to take a TI near Houston? I know about the Texas City Dike already, and I'm looking for other good suggestions. I see Lake Conroe come up a lot, but that's a really general suggestion. Where specifically on Conroe? What about launching from under the bridge at Kemah? Is Sylvan Beach in La Porte any good? Offat's Bayou off 61st in Galveston? Seabrook seems to come up a lot, but where specifically in Seabrook? How can I get onto the Intracoastal Waterway most quickly from Houston, and is that a good place to go?
Sorry for the mixed bag of questions, but thanks for any help.
