I have been as heavy as 285 lbs and never had a problem. I am 235 now and again no issues at all. I have a 2017 AI and just installed the Hook2 5 TS unit in my AI with the side scan transducer mounted in the hobie lowrance ready receptacle but I purchased the Berley Pro to Hobie adapter. It drops the transducer down below the hull. Have had no issues with this in the few outings I have had with it.
