Brendan out testing the TI foiler this week. It's been warm and windy here in Southern California. Perfect conditions!

Thanks for the photo Matt! I wasn't sure if anyone had a camera with them. What a rush!

Matt,

I bought the foiler kit last month and just finished installing it. Hope to get out and try it as soon as the weather warms up. It should be a blast - can't wait.

I wasn't aware that there is a foiled kit for the TI
Is it a permanent addition?
How difficult is it to fit?
I would like to know more about it :)

 Is everyone forgetting what day this is???

Looks like a APRIL FOOLS JOKE to me...

You would need some large foils and a power boat to get a TI on a plane...

The most difficult part was putting the internal foil supports securely inside the amas so they can bear the weight - those two ama foils plus the rudder foil have to support two people and without the internal steel bracing the plastic would deform. Fitting the steel rods through those tiny drainage plugs was worse than redoing the cords inside main hull.

All you really need is about a 14m kite and 10-15knots of wind. :D

uh,....they don't mount in the scupper holes, do they?

This new hydrofoil kit, does it use the same bow hardware as the new 150% jib?

I swear, that thing had our TI half way out of the water last week.
