Here's a 4 month trip in a TI up the Great Barrier Reef off the Queensland coast. How good would this be! From the website - "Best Job in the World’s Ben Southall embarks on his next Tourism Queensland adventure - ‘The Best Expedition in the World’. Ben explores Queensland’s Great Barrier Reef on a four month, 1600km kayak and sailing journey from the Town of 1770 on the Central Queensland coast, north to Cooktown in Queensland’s Tropical North. Keep up to date here on Ben’s experiences while he navigates one of the best protected reefs in the world." This will be a great trip to follow on the net and maybe do part of it ourselves in the future. I will be in it for sure. Hey notice his TI has the new rudder set-up so can I assume from that his is a brand new boat straight off the ship?...Pirate |

Looks like it Pirate. He started organising this trip a while back before the new rudder was even invented so possibly he delayed the trip until the fix was worked out. Dunno. His first day was certainly a good introduction to AI and TI sailing. |

As far as I'm aware it's an older hull with the upgraded rudder. |
