HOBIE® OUTDOOR ADVENTURES TV SERIES DEBUT We are excited to announce that a new series featuring the use of Hobie Cat® products called Hobie Outdoor Adventures will debut on Thursday, December 29th at 8:30am EST on the Versus Channel. The series will air once per week for 13 weeks, and each episode will feature a different adventure centered around a Hobie Cat product, from night fishing to the Transparentsea voyage on Hobie Mirage® Tandem Islands. At the conclusion of the 13 weeks of Hobie Outdoor Adventures, the same time slot will feature the IFA Redfish Tour Television Series, with a segment of each episode dedicated to the IFA Kayak Fishing Tournament sponsored by Hobie Cat. As of January 2, 2012, the Versus television network will become NBC Sports and Outdoors, so be sure to verify air times with that channel in mind come the new year. Please note that it is possible the January 5th episode may be pre-empted, so check your local listings. Hobie Outdoor Adventures will also air twice weekly in the state of Texas on the Texas Channel. Our air times are not confirmed at this writing, so please check your local listings. I could not find it listed on my Versus channel for 12-29-11 8:30am so called Comcast which owns Versus and they said they do not have it scheduled either nor is it in TV guide. I'm in Virginia so expected to find it at 8:30am EST. If it is being shown at another day/time let us know. I would like to set up my DVR to record the 13 week series. Bob |

It isn't showing on my Comcast guide either. However, it is showing up on titantv.com's listings on Versus and Versus HD @ 11:30 AM eastern time. I just set my DVR to record both the 8:30 AM and 11:30 AM time slots. Hopefully they get the listings straight after the changeover to NBC Sports Network next week so we can set the series to record. |

Today, I had to order the Sports Package with Mediacom to get that channel!  Of course I ordered the package while at work so I will miss the episode today. Will they show the episode on the web page? What topic did I miss today? Thanks

so wait,, what channel and time is at now?? i don't recall seeing it at 11.30 am either but i could be wrong.. is there any way to watch an episode after it airs? |

It aired @ 11:30 AM eastern time on Versus. It was not listed on Comcast program guide nor even the Versus TV web page. It was listed on titantv.com's listings. Currently it is NOT listed for next week, but Matt mentioned that the Jan 5th episode might be pre-empted. Edit: There was a message near the bottom of the page near the end of the show that said the next episode would air in a week @ 8:30 AM. |

Came on at 0630 here in Hawaii. It is listed as "Outdoor Adventures". I just set the DVR to record the entire series so I can watch it at a more pleasent time. Looks like it's going to be a great series. Matt, Will you be in any of the episodes? Or maybe the Uyeda Bros out here in Hawaii? I'm pretty sure you are going to open a lot of eyes to your products with this. If it is successful will future series be produced? I Love It! Royce |

I'm not video worthy these days! No, not going to be in any episodes that I am aware of. This is all being shot and produced away from our factory location in Oceanside. We will get better schedule info when available. We will have episodes on the web after they play on TV. Seems we are already getting great exposure with it. Tons of activity was generated on our facebook fishing page (free boat contest helps!). Seems to be a lot of people who had never seen the Mirage... hard to believe but TRUE! I did hear that the Uyeda Bros were being filmed on their Island for an Extreme fishing show! |
