The '12 pro angler was just announced with a really cool seat, the "Vantage" seat it raises up to 5 inches. Looks like a great way to stay dry in a TI.

Any way to get one/put one on a TI?

If you do a search on "skipper seat", you will find several how-tos on mounting a padded fold-back seat higher, and even further back if more leg-room is required.

Having seen Hobie's video on the new seat (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y34MsIUVWAY) I would be surprised if it could easily be retrofitted to existing PA because of the fittings required, or to other Hobie kayaks either (because of its size)

There are no plans right now to make the Vantage seat adaptable to an Island.

That is a nice adjustable seat set up. Better than the plastic skipper seat. But will be at a conciderable cost here in the far reaches of Aus.

I bet if I could get hold of one and all the fitting parts, I could make it fit to the TI or AI.
