If anyone knows of an Island Club in Palm Beach or Broward Florida please inform. If none, let's get one going. I Have been sailing my AI here for 2 years and have never even seen another one off our coasts. Hopefully I am just missing them.
It is great fun to have a group go out in numbers.

South florida trailer sailors

Also, lookup a thread about expedition trips, it's 15~18 pages but a fellow forum member, Chieka (sp? Sorry ), leads trips into the everglades on a semi regular basis in the winter.

Hello Oceantoeverglades,

Yes, Marc and I formed a small group of TI and AI owners about a year ago called SFTS - South Florida Trailer Sailors (Also known as Some Fine Tough Sailors 8) ). We have about 35-40 members, several in the Broward and Palm Beach area and a few like me up in Martin County.

We've done short day trips in the ocean, launching from Jupiter, a few long weekend excursions cruising the Inter Coastal up this way, as well as some fantastic camping trips last winter on the spoil islands in Ft. Pierce. I believe Marc is currently orginizing a July 4th get together. You're welcome to join us, check us out at http://www.trailsail.org
