I just had to share this. After discovering a sail cleat that was installed upside-down on my new 2012 TI, Hobie promptly sent me a replacement, and after a trip to Lowe's for a riveting tool, I was back in business. Then, after a recent mast fail, Hobie sent me a new main hull, which sailed quite well the last few days. However, after yesterday's outing, I noticed that one of the handles was on upside down... :)

I had to smile... then whipped out a Phillip's screwdriver and flipped it over.
(I love these do-it-yourself moments... when I it's something I can actually do!)

Hobie and none of us are perfect, but Hobie is standing behind their products, AND turning the sailing/boating world upside down!

"Have a Hobie Day!"

That is not upside down... from inside the boat or while on a car top rack. It's all a mater of perspective!

:)

...or maybe it's Hobie's fix for the water funneling straight into the cockpit?
