Out on the water today, we saw a spectacular sight, accompanied by a huge noise, which sounded like a roadie fiddling with the earth wire on an amplifier connected to a massive bank of speakers…. A pelican flew into a 60,000 volt power line and exploded! At least the poor thing would not have felt any suffering… |
