Cowsgomoo wrote: What happens when someone calls your phone..... ... his boat answers and sez "I'm sorry, the iPhone and I are having a Hobie Moment together ... please leave a Msg at the Beeeeeep" Very clever - I need to try one of those with a large magnifying lense affixed to the lids' underside top so I can read my GPS - the screen is so small I cant even read it with my glasses on, which I usually don't wear when sailing Thats moving pretty good !! I was in the Caribbean on vacation making good use of the Wave in big winds and was wondering what speed I was at flying one Ama to the point of blowing over ... ... I had never righted one before but had it sitting upright before the safety boat came out for a resue. He had warned me about the strong winds that day and looked at me in question when I said I was born on a Hobie ... he said after the failed resue attempt that I was the first to right one in the 8 years he's been working there |
