The tiller handles on my TI are out of alignment with eachother by about 30 degrees. I was able to inprove this only a little by adjusting the steering line tensions when I fitted the new style rudder. It does not appear that the tiller handles themselves are easily removable (or at least the persuasion required exceeded my confidence). I know this is not a critical issue and more of an annoyance but a simple fix would be appreciated.

It's likely just an adjustment issue - there's a line that ties the two handles together - check this diagram for help.

If the forward tiller handle is more clockwise then the rear you can disconnect one end of the line between the handles and tie a single knot in it to "eat" extra line.

If the front is counter-clockwise from the rear, then the line between them needs to be longer???

IT's never too short - it's always an issue where a crimp has slipped - we now make a much harder connection - so yes - usually tie a knot in that connector line will straighten them back out.

Thanks everyone for the helpful replies. It looks like a remote, mirror assisted operation.
