It's so much fun carving them up between the flags at the beach.

Is that a T.I. sail/mast on an A.I.?

I must've missed that thread- more info please!

Mike.

Well if it is a TI mast and sail on an AI, I'd wanna keep the furling line handy! :?
Cheers Ian
If it works ok...modify it anyway!

Yep, sure is. We'll have to wait for Stringy to give us the rundown on performance.

Hey can I get the AI/TI record for writing the longest most boring responses to posts. I just realized how long some are.
Bob

It's still early days but I can report a significant increase in sailing speed in lighter winds. The problem is I rarely get to go out solo in the AI so I don't have a lot to report. I do need to update that post. I have relocated the mainsheet padeye to as far aft as possible (just in front of the rudder housing), so the TI sail can be fully extended. I've also replaced the mainsheet with a cut down TI's mainsheet, replaced the V-Brace socket screw with the TI's stronger version and come up with a better fix than insulation tape to build up the furling drum.
Just need more time for proper testing... but we've been having too much fun in the TI lately! :D

Not boring Bob, but completely devoid of commas, returns and paragraphs. ;-)

Makes it hard for me to drill for the golden nuggets, in all the rubble.

After going back through all the threads and posts for the last few years, the HBWR committee has conducted an extensive word count and has awarded you the the Hobie World Record for the longest posts. Congratulations Bob ( fusioneng ). Unfortunately however the committee has voted unanimously that you do not get the record for the most boring posts. But as a conciliation you also pick up the award for the most informative posts.

The Hobie World Record for the most boring posts goes to .................

That's OK Bob, I've been accused of using all the excess formatting, returns and paragraphs that you left behind!

Point of order Mr HBWR Awards Chairman!
I'm going to challenge this world record.
Whilst not wanting to take anything away from Bob (fusioneng) I reckon the World Record for 'Most Informative Posts' can only go to one person. It has to belong to Roadrunner. Hands down the most informative poster here. There's a good reason he's a 'Hobie Guru' remember.

I propose Bob be awarded the 'World Record for Informative Posts on Ultra Modifications' instead. :)

Hear, hear! It's been quiet from RR lately, but his tests always read like a "popular mechanics" article.

The crew of the Batcave officially defer to Fusion Bob for the award of the "Most Pimped TI".

And nominate the yeller "BatBoat" for the AI/Trans-gender category.

Feast your eyes:
