Welcome aboard carsautotech . I'm nowhere near Texas but I can hopefully help with the pictures. You have to use 3rd party software to develop a img code. I use http://beta.photobucket.com/ but there are many others. You upload the photo to it and it develops many different codes for many different applications. Then you just cut and paste to code into your post. It's also a good way of saving and filing all your photos and video.

Looking forward to seeing some shots !

Hey Caricsautotech, welcome to the islands! I sail out of Houston with a number of other islanders that I met last year, which was my first year. We sail the lakes and bays in the spring. In the summer and fall we fish the oil rigs in the Gulf. We'd love to have you join us. We normally announce who is sailing where on the forums of adventureislanders. com but the website is being redesigned. It should be up before long. Meanwhile there are others on the Hobie site interested in sailing in groups (safest way to go when sailing offshore). I'll add you as a friend on this site. Then I'll start letting you and others know when I'm sailing by sending you a personal message. Watch your new messages so you don't miss a sailing opportunity!

When we get together, we like to use VHF radios to stay in touch on the water. You may want to purchase one. I like the Standard Horizon models. It's a must for your safety if decide to sail offshore.

Hope to meet you soon! Probably will sail this weekend.

If you go to the Board index, near the bottom you'll see "test forum". You can use this area to practice sending test posts with pictures. It helped me to be sure I have pictures and videos figured out.

Thanks for heads up, looking foward to joining in the sailing experience. I already have most of my gear, including a floating horizon vhf radio. I just finished installing my brunton compass. Been reading up on the right terms used while sailing. I too will be sailing this weeken at kemah/seabrook, tx area, Saturday or sunday.
