Well, apparently I bought a TI at the Miami Boat Show. I am not in trouble though - I let my wife think it was her idea (ALWAYS let your wife think it is her idea).

Anyway I plan to splash it this weekend for the first time. I'm a power boater not a blow boater, so I have to learn how to sail. Should be fun. And if it comes to it, I have paddles and the mirage drive. And a VHF handheld with a Boat US membership. I will make it back to port somehow.

Get a copy of "Sailing for Dummies." The chapter on points of sail will get you started off right.
