Our winds are normally very gusty. Up to 40MPH, but only 5MPH in the lulls. Feast or famine. But today they were blowing a steady, sustained 17-18MPH. Really nice, but 57F water is still a tad "cool."

My yardstick is how far up the sail the spray goes.. three feet up is my PB to date.
