These would make great rentals on vacations or even locally. I could see that leading to a lot of husband and wife purchases.

Brilliant! And it looks like movements will register as steps with my tyrannical step counter. You come home after a day out pedaling with your Mirage kayak to find you have hardly troubled the scorer on the steps front.

Downwind they really scoot. You provide the sail, of course.

Nice invention! More can be done of it. A tandem version, a speed version, a version with a nice chair, a version with a kite, a version with an engine, a version with hand brakes... This is much more interesting than the traditional SUP.

If you put a tablet on the handlebar you might be able to check the news or some entertainment while moving around and getting your exercise.

I might get interested if Hobie produces a much broader Eclipse. I like to have a bit room/space. A version which is at least 1,4 meter broad could interest me. You could rest on it. Even more than one person. What about that, Hobie?

I'm replacing my spineboard Hakas with them and getting the extra long Mondo Turbo fins and two supermodels

Buckaroo, so you kick back, beer in hand, straddled by two supermodels stepping furiously on mirate eclipses strapped to your akas. Is that the idea? That's quite a modification.
