They need to show how easy or difficult it is to get the TI back on to the dolly/cradle at water's edge and exactly how they do it.

Buncha months age I was sufficiently enthused by that vid to buy a set of the wheels shown - thinking I would craft a similar system around my Yak trailer....

Spent some time on it, but to no avail.

Maybe over this winter....

i have one, cant imagine the dolly part it is any harder than using a beach dolly. but cant say, never used one. certainly easier than rolling the boat and using a scupper dolly. and then only need one set of cradles. with the handle on the dolly the boat gets pulled right up and from there onto the trailer. the only advantage i see to a scupper dolly is if you have room to take it with to a diff location from departure. but if you are trailering and returning to departure. i think this is the way to go.

Originally I setup my trailer similarly with a full size cart at the rear. It works fine if you have a secure place to leave the cart near the water but it's too large to take along on the boat. To retrieve the boat you just float the cart under the boat and secure the straps.

Looks like I have a trailex or similar in my future. I'll launch from it and probably be able to mount a gear box but....
If I were doing a Trailex (and I might eventually.....) I would spend a few extra dollars and get the next size up from the Hobie-spec'd trailer: the one designed to allow two AI's side-by-side.

That will give you room for a serious gear box and various other space-taking functions not apparent at purchase time.
