I just fitted a set of spay skirts to my TI. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. Sure, you still get wet, but you don't get drowned. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsbWMIbCXNM I love them,,,,, but more importantly men,,,,, my wife loves them. |

Do they fit okay with tramps? My three-year-old gets a little annoyed at getting green water in his face when h's on the tramps! |

I sailed 5 years without them. I thought my TI was fitted with a turbine. Since I fitted the spray skirts, the whining from the front seat ceased. THEY ARE GREAT! |

Here's an alternative to spray skirts: a 2-mil hooded parka (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007P ... UTF8&psc=1) I got mine a size larger than what I officially take and it has turned to be a great garment - both for sailing and general nasty-weather use. |

What do you pair it with on the bottom? I'm really enjoying sailing my Island in this 50-60 deg weather, but could use a little more insulation for my head and bottoms. Don't really want to get a scuba hood and full wetsuit. |

I have a pair of those - which, because of my weird build, fit really sloppily but, as long as I am not immersed do the job well. The danger with these garments is wearing them on cold water where you need thermal protection while immersed.... For that you need a dry suit with suitable undergarments or a real form-fitting wet suite of the right thickness. |

A spray jacket is great, but it won't stop buckets of water being thrown at you. We used spray jackets for years, but we got sick of the torrents of water that land anywhere from your neck to your crotch. Sure you still get wet,,, really wet, but the spray skirts slow down to nigh stopping the buckets full of water comming at you on those windy, rougher days. |

The cold water of Sweden will get to my body anyhow so I use a dry suit instead of spray skirts. best regards thomas |

You are right there. You need a bit more protection than Spray Skirts in Aweeden. |
