I took my TI out for a maiden voyage yesterday with the spinnaker kit. I've rigged it up on the starboard side as per the Hobie instructions, and it worked. But I always seemed to be wrestling with a constant tangle of lines. Sheets, halyard, and furling.
Has anyone run the spinnaker on the port side? To separate its controls from the main's controls.
Any problems with doing this?
Cheers
Colin

That was the very first thing I did with my spinnaker kit, and it works perfectly. I thoroughly recommend you switch yours over too.
