Im in the process of making my lowrance 7TI my single fishfinder for my boat and hobie island. The only thing fixed in the boat is the transducer and everything else are removable. So im looking to buy a smaller transducer that can fit inside hobie transducer ready. Can someone please tell me what transducer to buy. A link where i can buy it will be great.

I cant wait to start sailing here at NC lakes and test this AI...Bought it Dec and not able to test ...few more mods in the boat and trailer and im all set when the weather permits.

Thank you

The setup for the Lowrance transducer on my 2015 TI worked very nicely and is slick

But.. I remember also seeing a youtube video of how to intall a transducer in the hull of any kayak. I could not find the video but what they showed was glueing the transducer to the inside of the hull using "Goop" glue. I think the video showed making some sort of "dam" around the transducer so that the Goop glue didnt leak out while setting. Just make sure no bubbles between the bottom of the transducer and the plastic hull.

Just an option.. but this probably works well.

Thanks Walt.
Just wanted to see the model of transducer that fits on that Hobie Transducer ready hole and works for Lowrance 7TI.
Am I stuck to the Totalscan long transducer? I don't mind losing the structure scan or side scan....

Finally received the response from Lowrance. Heres the transducer model and found one in amazon for $105.00. Will arrive on Thursday.
Just sharing this for others who are in the same requirement where i will be using single display unit between my gheenoe boat and hobie AI. I dont need the 299.00 totalscan transducer when sailing.

I use the total scan on my hobie ti. You can get the adapter. Total scan is worth it. I use this.
