I have an older 2009-2010 AI single person. Did the design or bottom edge that goes over your head change over time? Also is it different on the tandem model. I've notice in many videos that there seem to be alot more head room or even a slight curve to allow more head room in some of the newer models. Min seems to havelittle room for me when tacking as I'm also 6'2".

There are 2 different ai’s, pre 2015 and 2015 or newer.
Inyour ai you sit lower in the boat, post 2015 you sit higher so you need the curve in the sail.
And for your next question: no! A post 2015 sail needsa longer mast so it won’t fit on your mast

Hope that this is the answer you needed.
Have fun on the water. Peter
