Hello Matt, First post, I've been following for awhile.

I have a question. I've started to update the lock bearings on my 2017 TI.
The difference between the old and new is not significant. The new kit I received appears to have both styles.
The 4 lock bearings I removed from my TI also have both styles.
Both type have the ramp described in the instructions.

I'm trying to determine what is the old versus new style.

I am not sure how to post images.
The best way to describe the difference I see.
Type 1: has a curved bevel on the surface the latch will contact.
Type 2: has a straight cut with small machined cutaway.

thank you

The new is primarily the spring hook... has a stainless spring and hinged hooks. If you had that already... you don't need the update.

Thank you Matt for the reply.

I couldn't really see a difference in the in Lock Bearings and probably didn't need to change them.

I'll be doing the spring hooks this weekend.

The new bearings have a slight ramp for the hook to rest into.
