I have been using my IA for about 3 months now. I love it. I am having on issue getting the seat to attach to the bar (sorry, don't know the right name). I usually end up screwing with it for about 5 minutes most times to get it attached maybe half the time. The other times I go out, i just give up and it is just resting on the bar. What is the key here?

Thanks

Gerry

Place the seat in the hull. Place your hand around the bar and seat base. Lift the rear of the seat until the front locks in. Lower the rear again and clip the strap to hold. Super easy with the right technique.

Yeah I have seen this video and do this, still don't have much luck. It's not super easy on my boat.

Raise the front bar up - if that bar is in the lowest setting it makes it trickier.

I will take a look. I didn't realize the bar was adjustable.

Thanks

I've got the same problem. I put the seat on the bar, raise the back, squeeze bar and when I rotate it down the front rubs on the hull and pops it out of position. Raising the bar helps but doesn't make it easy. I'd love to have the seat higher all the time but anytime you lean forward the back legs folds up and the resulting seating angle is terrible. So if you raise it to get the seat locked in you then have to lower it or fight the legs. It's all workable just a P.I.T.A.

I've got both seats locked in and I haven't removed then since.
