Hi
As soon as I read about the free upgrades to Hobie Adventure Island, the thing around the mast and parts for the akas, I ordered them.
Swedish dealer have made at least 5 contacts to get the parts.
Nothing yet.

Hobie Europe (Netherland) is working very efficient to undermine Hobie´s god service reputation.
Or is there anything else that makes it hard to deliver parts to Sweden?
Sweden is a small country but it is located on this planet!

I have waited since the upgrades were first announced. They arrived last week. Hobie Europe are not really interested.

I have sent an email to the address above, 2018-10-08 (two weeks ago!).
Still no answer.
Do anyone read incoming emails?
I can understand that Hobie Europe don't make any business on free upgrades so their interest is low but now more than a year have gone since since the upgrades were first announced.

Hobie Kayak Europe is an independent distributor. Not a Hobie owned business, so I have no idea about their systems. Just keep trying I guess. Or contact Hobie Cat Europe in France? [email protected]

They must be VERY independent! (Still no answer, every company with customers need at least some kind of mail system.)
Does this means that warranties and free upgrades is up to Hobie Kayak Europe to decide?
Like: "No we don't distribute any free upgrades to customers or dealers in europe".
My Swedish Dealer have no better luck than me to contact them. They just don't answer.
I have asked if the Swedish dealer can't do business with US directly but that is obviously not possible.

Best Regards
Thomas

Correct. We do not ship direct. It is the responsibility of the regional distributor. I will copy this thread to the owner now.

@Kal-P-Dal, I am Bulgarian Hobie dealer and received these upgrades in March. I have always received quick responses from HKE.
