Hobie Island Spinnaker Stop Tangles is the biggest problem people have with the Hobie Island Spinnaker Kit. It happens when you are furling the main sail in and it catches the spinnaker halyard and gets tangled up in the sail. I have added a cleat to the retrieval line of the spinnaker which means I can lock in it. By cleating the halyard as well you can create some tension which effectively keeps the sail and the spinnaker halyard far enough apart that they no longer tangle. |
