Im going through the Hobie AI spinnaker install on my AI and it looks to me like improvements can be made to the instructions and the kit. I dont like how the halyard connects to the same pad eye as the main sheet on the rear of the AI. This creates a lot of binding in a small area. Seems to me that it would be better to add a new pad eye futher back towards the rudder exclusively for the halyard. This would also give you a slightly better angle on the backstay. Has anyone here attemped this? Thanks Brian |

Yes, It would indeed. I've considered the same thing for my TI. It's still on my list of future mods though. |
