Hello!

I have a friend who wanted to try out my 2008 adventure islander. I hadn’t used my boat in 2 years and found the mirage drive has an issue which needs fixed.
So we were able to insert a 2010 drive, but it took some finagling and is a tiny bit tight. Does anyone know if it would damage the mirage drive well of the 2008 if it is used?

Thank you,
Wanda

With the alignment pins removed and possibly a little filing of the faring... this will work in the older boats.

Thank you!

I will have to brush up on the names for the mirage drive parts :)

My chain assembly had been cut and I was un-able to find one on line, so wanted to use our 2010 mirage drive in it’s place.

Today I looked again. Hobie and numerous other companies are out of stock with this item. Then I happily found one at Outdoor Play!

Thanks Again,
Wanda
