I was thinkin' that it might be easier to use the pedals if they had a shoe attached to them that was easy to get in and out of. Was just thinking that the heel support on the shoe would better support your legs.
Am I thinking too much?

Otter, a couple of related ideas have surfaced in the past.

It is possible to replace the crank arms with an older version that is solid aluminum and threaded for bicycle pedals. You can install clip pedals and wear your cycling shoes!

Someone else mentioned fashioning slings to the pedals to support the heels -- don't remember if this was ever built it or not.

I wedge my feet in the straps -- that seems to keep them attached and supported pretty well. Not a perfect solution, but it helps!

If you give it a try, be sure to let us know how it works out! 8)

That is why I fell in love with Crocks. Rubber to rubber means that my feet stick in the pedals. This is the only time I use the heel straps on the Crocks.

Tried it with my Croc's and it worked much better. The Croc's have kind of a spongy rubber that the strap can hold onto better. Thanks for the suggestion!
