I like the Thule rack because it has the rectangular bars which keep the saddles from turning on the bars. |

Yakima Mako Saddles work well if you're considering saddles, and not simply mounting them on the bars. This puts the boat top side up, but it is within Hobie's recommendations as long as you have proper saddles (like the Mako Saddles) Personally, I wouldn't go for other types of saddles as these ones HUG the boat, and the others force the boat to be pulled down, which, in my opinion could dent the boat. |
