New TI owner. I rinse the Mirage drives after every use. How essential is it to rinse the entire boat? After every very use? I live on the West Coast FL ICW and all my use is salt water--the TI (new) lives on the grass on my beach.

I hose it down after each use, to include my md. I then spray wd40 on my md too after it dries.

Dont think the salt does the plastic any harm. But it helps with the potential smell in the crevices especially if you are a fisho, and reduces and corrosion in any fittings, and sticking of hatch seals

Spay repellent on the drives and especially on the cable ends as they can corrode internally

good ideas--thank you. I have been hosing it down and will start hitting the MD drives with WD40 or perhaps silicone spray. The salt water is incredibly corrosive to most surfaces. What the salt does not get the sun does it seems. Thanks
