Good evening all,

I ordered a new TI last week (for usage in and around the laguna of Venice in Italy) and am preparing garage for storage arrangements.
The length of 5m60cm of the TI is including or excluding the rudder ?

Thanks for the feedback.

Regards
Matthias

you may also want to consider for the future the possible addition of a motor such as a Torqueedo 403 on the rear which adds length
Do a search on these forums for torqueedo for pictures.
My Adventure Island is very long but I have never measured it yet
I use mine almost everyday traveling on the canals here in Cape Coral Florida USA where we have 400 miles (around 640 kilometers of canals plus Caloosahatchie river, some bays and estuaries.
I am discovering a small electric motor can be helpful after 3-4 hours pedaling around.
I also got 20 extra of the black plastic breakaway pins for the Aka’s as spares.

Thanks for the feedback,

Indeed i ordered spares of various spare parts including those bolts.
The electric propulsion is on the to-do list. Mixed feelings about the version that fits at the pedals (clean solition) and a 403 or 1103 on the aft (option for some more power and added flexibility in shallow water in case of distraction and I hit something ).

For now the exact size of the TI without the rudder would be useful to preset the relatively small spaces in the garage... it will be a tight fit... :D ... typical garage in Chioggia (southern part of venetia lagune) is very small compared to USA standards.

With the rudder pushed over to one side, (so the minimum length without doing any dismantling) it is approximately 574cm, if that helps?
So taking the rudder off might yield another 8cm or so.
Best not to rely too much on those figures as I don't have my boat at hand to check - I made a rough CAD plan of it a year or two ago when I was planning my garage layout, and this is what it measures on my drawing!
If every centimetre is critical, I can measure again for you over the weekend?

Hi RedKite
Only if weather is bad, bars are closed and Netflix has nothing nice to show ... :D

In the meantime the hobie dealer just informed me that I have to wait for the next container form USA due to backlogs
