I searched for this, but didn't find any posts

We are going camping with the TI next week and space in our car is limited. Has anyone towed with the seats attached to the boat? I'd obviously tie safety lines to them. Not sure if that would be too much stress for the seat post?

yes. it's not an issue with an Adventure Island. Can't imagine it's an issue with any boat.

I have an Oasis with Vantage CT seats and have trailered it many thousands of miles past 5 years without removing the seats. I do bungee them down using the bungee hooks that came with the kayak. Not sure if those hooks are for the seats or for locking one side of the pedal drive back for shallow water, I use for both. Only time I remove the seats is too sit comfortably on some remote deserted beach. :D

Fold the seats down and run the mainsheet line across the top of each and then tie the mainsheet so that it holds the seat backs down. Never hurts to put safety lines on them but I've towed mine that way for years and never had an issue.
