Post subject:  AI storage or The first AI in the holly land

Hi

I am going to have my AI this Wednesday. I have two storage options (Both at clubs on the beach):
1. Small storeroom crowded with surfboards and sails . I can have some
space next to one of the walls.
2. Local catamaran club: A large yard, but the AI will be placed outside
in rain and sun. I can cover it but it is still outside. (the sail and amas
& akas can be stored on a rack in a storeroom)

Is it wise to store the AI kayak outside? Or should I choose the surfboard storeroom?

Thanks

Ido

P.s. There is new Hobie dealer here in Israel - and I am the first who purchased the AI..

Speaking of storage. I want to hang my AI from my garage ceiling. There are a number of lift systems like the Harken Hoister, that lift and and hold the kayak with two thin straps under the hull. Because the AI is heavier than most kayaks, is there a problem supporting it in that manner? Is it better to hang it hull up or hull down?

Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks -

David
