A likely scenario seems to be an invasion of the south coast as that is where most folk are. Hopefully the southerners will buy us loads of beer in compensation.

Is there anywhere on the south coast that could hire/lend us some Adventures' for the travellers? Hauling boats 500 or 700 miles seems a bit daft for us northeners.

I could be up for sail. I am based in Chichester Harbour. I sail from Hayling Island Sailing Club and could possibly get the use of the clubs facilities for a meet up. We have accommodation and restaurants etc and the harbour is an interesting place to explore or we can nip out into the Solent.
The only potential problem is that the AI doesn't meet with the clubs regulations and I am only allowed to keep mine there because I have other boats there, am helping monitor the Seal colony and do a lot of photos of the others from the AI.
I will be down there this weekend and am happy to sound them out if anyone is interested?
