Picking up my new TI on Friday. Live in Bondi Junction.
Would be interested in some company on the water in the not too distant future.

Hi, I've been sailing my AI around for a little over a year. It's been a great way to get on the water by myself or with one of the kids. So quick to set up, and so much more flexible than a sailing boat. If one thing went wrong, I'm always confident that I can get home using another form of propulsion. Really stable too.
I've just discovered this forum and the fact that there seems to be quite a few locals just like me, who like going it alone, but would like to meet up occasionally.
I haven't met them as yet, but it could be quite a social summer by the looks of it.
I'm just down the road in Bronte, so let us know when you're ready to go.

Hi Smallfish and welcome to the forum :D

Good to see more locals getting active here. Hopefully we can catch up soon for a sail.

Welcome Smallfish. Always good to see new members. The Sydney AI scene seems to be growing by the minute. It wouldn't take much for you lot to get your act together and break the world record. The largest amada in the world so far was set recently by us at 5 1/2. ( 4 AI's plus 1 TI ). Some say that there have been larger contingencies but until we see a photo to disprove it, 5 1/2 is the record. ( I'm sure the photos will come flooding in now ).

Hope to get down for a Sydney sail one day. If you ever want a change of scene, you are always welcome up this way.

Hi Smallfish, I'm in the same boat (pun :) ), I'll be picking my new TI soon (7th Dec - fingers crossed).

Once I get it, it would be great to have company.
