Hi guys today while peddling i heard a weird noise and then found that while both of the peddles are verticle one of my fins is no longer pointing straight down. All the cables seem to be normal so the only thing i can think is that maybe the chain jumped over the sprocket but i don't see how this could have happened because it seemed pretty tight. Anyhow if anybody can help me figure out how to fix it that would be sweet.

Pix cooming soon.

Took the fin off and it looks like the big tooth on the sprocket is broken so i have ordered part 81129001 which i think is the right bit?

Yes, that would explain the mis-alignment. The chain has skipped.

That is the correct part... 81129001 SPROCKET V2 - THREADED

went out today with a friend and his drive failed in the exact same way! Maybe there was a bad batch or something? I have only had my AI since Xmas and his is only a few months old, so these cogs should not be breaking.

You could be right ChaosDave though I can't recall reading other posts regarding this problem.
Either way it should be covered under warranty. I'd be talking to my dealer!
