I have a 2011 TI, bought 6 weeks ago, which I have used 4 times now. Apart from losing a drive fin and losing tension in rudder conrol lines (see other posts) I noticed yesterday that the lug that engages with the leading edge of the rudder to hold it in down position has broken off. The bungie hold-down cord was already fitted to my boat, so I am not too concerned, at least now while it is summer in Oz and getting into the water to secure and release is not a problem. Can anyone advise (Matt from Hobie??) how much of the assembly will be replaced when the new system is sent out? And who will be responsible for fitting? the dealer, or the owner?
I am not discouraged by the way. The boat is amazing, and Hobie seems to be prepared to fix any teething problems with this newish product

From the rudder pin aft... the whole assembly. We are paying for installation.

Thanks Matt for your rapid response to this and other posts. Looking forward to the rudder upgrade.
