Post subject:  Crack in the mirage drive lock

Hi.
Friend of mine bought last year (may 2010) from official distributor an AI, which was a display/demo boat. From beginning he always found a little water in the hull. Distributor suggested the water can get in through the steering line holes. Few days ago, after detailed inspection, my friend found a small crack in the mirage drive lock.

I would like to ask you few questions.
1. Is this possible to repair the crack within the warranty?
2. Is he a regular first owner with full warranty, if he bought a demo model from the distributor?

serial number of the boat is

Thanks Viktor

He should contact his dealer and file a warranty claim. We (or his regional distributor... Europe?) will have a look. Generally, we have been covering drive well issues with extended coverage. That may be available for this boat. Level of coverage will be determined if first owner and age of the boat.
