Many people just use knots, but in search of a more elegant solution, I bought buckles that look like these:
I use them in addition to the factory buckles and have not had any slipage since.

Just wondered if anyone else has had the problem of the seat adjustment straps gradually slipping? I have a 2011 AI and I find I have to keep adjusting the straps every few minutes as they gradually drop the seat back. Frustrating when peddling. Guess they could be fixed, but it is nice to be able to have some adjustment. |

I had Velcro sewn onto the ends of the straps |

Eventually the ridges on the webbing wear down and the slipping increases. I have flipped the straps over to use the ridges on the back. That extends the life. I will try to find locking buckles as recommended. |

Couple of half hitches by the cam should do it. Or you could tie a temp knot in the excess strap where you want it to stop. |

I tried these but they don't seem to lock down. I ended up using a knot but that works loose too. I'm still working on a cunning plan.... |

I fixed that problem years ago by doubling the strap back through the buckle. Haven't had a problem since, in fact I'd forgotten there was such a problem. Alternatively, Josh recommended Tri-glide buckles for this problem over on the old Yakass website. |
