I also use a reversed shop vac with a reducer on it for the older hulls, (which have the large side drains). Keeping a loose fit, and cracking one hatch so it's not too much pressure. A shop compressor could blow the thing apart!
I think one of those airbed inflators or battery powered pumps would be just about right for the job.
I believe the new AI/TI hulls only have those ridiculously tiny rear bungs, so I think I'll have to rig up a cardboard hatch adaptor for my tests now.
Between all the soap and the vacuuming, my wife thinks I'm out there cleaning up the boat.
She likes things tidy.
