Have a 2012 Tandem Island with a cracked mast receiver. Want to be sure I have the right part - #7951401? It appears to have the mast retainer clip and spring already included is that correct? Also does the mast receiver assembly come with the step pin plate at the bottom or is this a separate item to purchase?

I am also considering replacing the mast base #79511101 as it looks a bit worn in the hole where it goes onto the step plate. I see that is is attached with 2 rivets which I'm sure I can drill out. However, how hard will this be to replace as I suspect there is a great deal of glue used in attaching the mast base to bottom of the mast. I don't want to risk mast damage having to hammer off the mast base. Any suggestions?

Thanks much -

Check number... 79514101 includes the step pin installed.

I have an older mast receiver, it has a small metal plate attached to a pull string handle rather than the locking lever shown above . It doesn’t seemed to be locking to the mast anymore, and was wondering if the above shown part can be used as a replacement? And if so, would I need a new mast? Thanks in advance
