Post subject:  Mast replacement

Hi, I was here for years as narwhal. I had to re-register as narwhal2.

My AI2 mast is broken, apparently from something falling on it durring hurricane Michael - it looks crushed. I will most likely order a new mast. It appears from the parts list that the furling drum and mast base are not included (can Matt or someone confirm that). If so, Is there a way to get the old drum off and reattach or is better/easier to order all new parts? I know the mast is quite expensive and i don't think any of my windsurfing masts are long enough. The damage is large enough that i don't think that i would try to repair. Does anyone know who might stock these parts in the US? I was planning on calling Austin Kayak. I would like to replace ASAP. My dealer typically has to wait for other shipments, etc to get stuff in from hobie.

Thanks in advance!

Masts come complete (with drum and base). The other items listed are also available separately.
