Hi Mike,
I would check with the NSW Department of Fair Traiding.
https://www.fairtrading.nsw.gov.au/help ... -complaint

Regardless of the length of Hobie's warranty, the department sets the warranty.
Rumor has it that a top end & powerful US computer & phone company had to change its laptop warranty from 1 year to 4!

I have heard very positive things about Hobie's replacement of hulls etc and am puzzled by this attitude.
Anyone else having problems (in NSW) should also go to Fair Trading. I'm sure the refusal by Hobie is not company policy.

Kind regards - & best sailing (not swimming)

This stuff should be used on all the stainless screws from Hobie to stop galvanic corrosion : https://www.anzor.com.au/chemicals/lubricants-and-corrosion-inhibitors/tef-gel
