Hi, I’m new to the forum. I think I may have found the answer on the forum but seeking confirmation. I have a 2009 Revolution with its original drive. I now have the option to purchase a newer MD180 reverse drive. I believe all I need to do to make the new drive fit is to cut the guide nubs off the drive, as my hull does not have the guide tracks moulded in. Will the drive then fit and operate in my 2009 Revolution? Thanks in advance!

Yes. Worst case, on older boats, you might have to shave off some of the fairing that blocks water surge.
