I have an 2018 AI where the front xbar in 2020 had a crack on the starboard site unser the rubber cap. Thus caused the aka to slip. I replaced it and now after only 60 hours of use again..

Is this normal?

I ordered a replacement but receivecd a shorter version(5 cm/2.5 in) I assume pre 2015. I could mount it but would need to drill new holes for the clams resp change the rear.

Hast anyone used older versions of xbars than the original ones on an AI or TI xbars on an AI?

As AI is discontinued, could TI xbars be mounted on an A?
