While sailing yesterday in 15 not winds I lost rudder control several times. The only way I could get it back under control was to wiggle the rudder control arm. The Twist and Stow lever was locked down. Today as I was washing the AI I noticed that there was Slack in the Twist and Stow cable even though the lever was locked down. Does anyone know where I can take up the slack? :?:  :?:

Check out http://www.hobiecat.com/support/index.html
Select "Product Support Page" on the left, under Kayaks
Near the bottom look for "Twist-n- Stow Rudder Manual.pdf"
In it, is the adjusting instructions.

My only additions are, I tighten the down line while the rudder is up (not deployed) to get more "pull", and I wrap all lines 2x around the screws and then a simple knot to they can't slip.

Your cousin, :)
